Breaking Bread Kitchen seeks to create a platform for the local Springfield food economy through the creation of The First Annual Springfield Fall Food Festival. The Springfield food industry needs support throughout this economic recovery process following the pandemic. Breaking Bread Kitchen is working to help these businesses gain exposure, while receiving economic development opportunities through the overall festival, networking experiences, and adjacent financial literacy efforts.
The festival will allow businesses to showcase their product and services to a greater audience, as well as provide community resources for economic development and sustainability.
Furthermore, Breaking Bread Kitchen is utilizing this platform to invest in the next generation by establishing The Karin L. Wilson Scholarship to be awarded annually at the Springfield Fall Food Festival. This scholarship awards a Springfield high school student money to put towards their collegiate and/or professional studies. Black and Brown Wall$treet specializes in economic development and connecting the greater business community with financial development resources and opportunities.
Black and Brown Wall$treet is working in partnership with Breaking Bread Kitchen to ensure that the First Annual Springfield Fall Festival is accessible to our greater business community and sustainable for the years to come. Lastly, The Wright Gift is a socially activated events company that curates unique and culturally component décor.
